1. Non registered customer:
A. Register for our support system here.
B. Fill in all the fields.
C. In Your domain name, you have to fill the domain name that will be registered. You just need to enter the domain/subfolder without http://, https:// or www. prefix. Suppose your store is installed within a folder and the URL is https://abc.com/store, then you just need to enter abc.com/store. Or you store URL is https://abc.com, you just need to enter abc.com. And if your store is www.abc.com, you just need to enter abc.com.
D. Finally click the REGISTER button. You will be registered into our support system, also the license code will be generated and shown in the screen.
2. Registered customer:
A. Login here by using your support system username and password.
B. Fill in all the fields.

D. Finally click the OBTAIN button, the license code will be generated and shown in the screen.
Important notes: This is only available for our registered customer only and the license will expire in 10 days.
Providing you a good way to test a version update on AbanteCart prior to working on your live site. (see KB for cloning instructions)
Create a support ticket request via our support system here and provide use the following details:
- Testing URL
- Cart version
- Extension name
- Extension version
- The reason why you need a development/testing license key and if you need the license more than 10 days.
We will send you the development/testing license key after we have reviewed your reason.
Update extension in same location:
No need for new license key.
Existing key remains active for one installation in the same location (URL)
For most of the extensions just directly install the extension upgrade without loss of the settings. You do not need to uninstall or delete your existing extension version.

1. Click License Codes info.
2. Click the Extension Name if you want to sort the extension name from A-Z or Z-A.
3. Click the Support & Updates Service expires if you want to sort the Support & Updates Service expiration date from newest-oldest or oldest-newest.
WHY2 license is for ONE active store. You can assign an existing extension and license key to any ONE store.
If you want an extension to run on more than one store, you will need to purchase directly from WHY2 an additional license fee at 50% of the original cost for each additional license installation. Open a support ticket with the request for additional license and for which WHY2 extension(s). You will need to provide WHY2 with the sub store URL for the additional installation(s).
There will not be any annual support/update fee for additional installations – only the onetime initial installation. Support and updates will be available for all licensed installations of an extension for only one annual fee.
We will bill you directly from your support account for the one-time additional license fee.
You will need to change existing license code with a new one in some case such as:
- You switch from Rent to Owned extension.
- You cancelled your Support And Updates Service, changed your mind and you re-purchase the extension again in order to get the support and updates service again.
To do that, please follow the following steps:

1. Backup your store. Please refer to our How to Backup an Installation KB here if you are using Softaculous.
2. Replace the existing license code with the new license code (Make sure that there are no extra whitespace in front of or at the end of the license code).
3. Click the bottom save button.
Moving your installation to a new location (domain) or new server (same domain name):
1. Go to https://wehearyou2.com/clientarea/client/login and login by using your support Username and Password.
2. Click Manage
3. Click Manage License
4. Check the Reissue checkbox.
5. Click the Save button.
6. Open your store, go to extension settings page and click the bottom Save button. You don’t need to redo any extension additional setting.
Important Notes:
Please do the following steps prior to obtaining the new license key.
A. Make note of the extension you are updating.
B. Make note of your CURRENT license key – you will need to input it in the conversion form (Step 5 below).
C. Make note of the installation URL including subfolder, if any. |
1. Go to https://wehearyou2.com/clientarea/convert-license.
2. Support System Username: Enter your support system username.
3. Support System Password: Enter your support system password.
4. Click Login button.
Notes for number 6-8:
1. These fields will be automatically filled with the registered extension name, extension version and the location where installed after you fill the license key field and and leave the field.
2. Verify the auto filled fields are correct PRIOR to clicking on the OBTAIN button. |
5. Your current license key: Enter your current license key.
6. Registered extension name: This is the registered extension name. You cannot change the extension name.
7. Select extension version: Please select the current extension version that you are using.
8. Location where installed: This is the registered location . You cannot change the location.
9. Click Obtain button.
10. This is the new license key.
11. Click this to logout.
After you obtained the new license key, you need to update the extension and install the new license key. Refer to our F.A.Q here for the how-to. Update your extension to version ending in xxx.11. |
Important Notes:
The old license server is shut down, you need to convert license immediately and update the extension to .11 or .12 version for your extension to keep working.
If your support and update service has expired, you may not be getting the new extension version notification in your admin panel that is provided by our extension updater and requires an unexpired updater service.
You need to create a support ticket to us via our support system here and provide us your cart version, extension name so we can send you the correct version of the extension. You are entitled to the correct version of the extension for your current AbanteCart installation. There is no cost to you for the update we supply you via a support ticket request. |
Important Notes: You should create a backup of your site prior convert to the new license system. |
1. You need to obtain the new license key by following the steps in our How To Obtain License Key From New License System F.A.Q here.
2. You can update the extension to the new xxx.11 version via our built-in extension updater. Refer to our K.B here for more information about the extension updater.
3. Replace the existing license key with the new license key that you obtained via step 1 above. Make sure that there are no extra spaces in front of or at the last of the new license key.
4. Click the bottom Save button to install the new key.
5. You will get this message after you install the license key.
6. You will get this message if you are installing a wrong license key.
Note for the following notification: It is added into new .11 version.

If you found a WHY2 extension seeming not to be working it is probably due to time lapse since last usage. Please go to admin > extensions > extensions, open the extension that stopped working then click on the SAVE button at the bottom of the page. That should reactive your extension.
If you install your cart in http://somedomain instead of https://somedomain and you discover you need https, then you decided to clone the http to https and delete the http. Please follow the steps that was described in our Moving your installation to a new location (domain) or new server (same domain name) for new license key system (prefix OWN or RENT) F.A.Q here.
