AbanteCart v1.3.0 Product Option Cost patch files

Important Note:

Files updated as of Jul 20, 2021.

We (WHY2) have added product options cost field to AbanteCart v1.3.1.


A. We have pushed these patch files to AbanteCart Github and they have approved and merged them into the next AbanteCart v1.3.1.
B. These Patch files are for AbanteCart v1.3.0 ONLY. You need to update your cart version to v.1.3.0 in order to be able to use these patch files.
C. You must replace the 1.3.0 files with the patch files in order for our extensions to work correctly. You should update the patch files PRIOR to updating your WHY2 extensions.
D. You must update cart tables by import the SQL file to your database.
E. We have organized the files within the corresponding folder and zipped them so you can download the file to your PC, extract the files and upload to your server.


There are two steps involved in these patch files:
A. How to Backup an Installation and Upload the Files:
1. Make a backup of your installation. Please refer to the how-to backup using Softaculous here.
2. Download the patch files (6 files) to your PC product_option_cost_patch.zip
3. Extract the files if you want to upload via FTP client.
4. There are two ways to upload the file(s):
a. Login to cPanel, click on public_html/your_site/,upload the zipped patch file and extract. Refer to our how-to here OR
b. Open your FTP Client, click on public_html/your_site/, upload the extracted files there.

B. How to Update your database:
1. Make a backup of your installation. Please refer to the how-to backup using Softaculous here.
2. Download the SQL patch files (1 file) to your PC product_option_cost_table.sql. Please refer to our “How to change table prefix in sql file” KB here.
3. Login to cPanel, click on PhpMyAdmin, click on your table, click import. Refer to our how-to here.
4. Clear your cart cache via System > Cache due to there are 2 new language definitions that are added.
